2. ⁠Service Description
Ping the Parents helps parents and guardians manage school-related communications by:   •    You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.​

• Connecting to your Google account (with your explicit consent) to read school-related emails in read-only mode.

• Extracting relevant details (e.g., dates, deadlines, event info).

• Delivering WhatsApp reminders based on those details.

We do not send or modify your email.

3.⁠ ⁠Subscriptions & Payments
   

• Access to Ping the Parents requires a paid subscription, billed via Stripe.

• By subscribing, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service and payment processing.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel anytime, and your access will continue until the end of the billing period.

4.⁠ ⁠Use of Google APIs

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the

Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

 

• We only request the minimum scopes needed (gmail.readonly).

• We use Gmail data solely to provide the reminder feature described in our Privacy Policy.

• We do not allow human access to Gmail data except as required for support, security, or legal reasons.

5.⁠ ⁠Data & Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of data as described there.

6.⁠ ⁠Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes.

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

• Interfere with or disrupt the service.

7.⁠ Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers to deliver parts of the service:

• Stripe for payment processing.

• Twilio (or equivalent) for WhatsApp message delivery.

These providers are independent services with their own terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via our website or email. Continued use of the service after changes indicates your acceptance.
