• Payment Information: When you subscribe, payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

• Usage Information: We may collect limited technical information (e.g., browser type, device, usage logs) to improve our service.

• Core Functionality: We use Gmail read-only access to identify school-related information in your inbox and convert it into WhatsApp reminders.

• WhatsApp Messaging: We use your contact details and extracted school event information to send reminders via WhatsApp.

• Service Improvements: Aggregated, anonymized data may be used to improve features and performance.

• Payments: Stripe processes subscription payments and billing.

Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

 

• We only request the minimum scope required (gmail.readonly).

• We access Gmail data in read-only mode and never send or modify email.

• We only extract and temporarily store the minimum data needed for reminders (e.g., event dates, subjects, or links).

• We do not use Gmail data for advertising, marketing, or data sales.

• We do not allow human access to Gmail data except where required by user consent, security, or legal obligations.

• All Gmail data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

• When you disconnect your Google account or request deletion, all Gmail-derived data is permanently deleted.

• Extracted school event data is retained only as long as necessary to deliver reminders, typically no longer than 30 days (or as otherwise described during setup).

• You may request deletion of your data at any time, and we will promptly honour the request.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, restricted access controls, and monitoring for unauthorized access.
